Disc 1.
Tracks 1-11 As released on the album 1987 Cloud 9 CD
12. Lay His Head - Originally planned for the 1980 version of Somewhere In England LP the track was given a significant remix in 1987 and included as the B-side to Got My Mind Set On You. This version is sourced from the Japanese CD single.
13. When We Was Fab (Reverse End) - Clearly lacking suitable candidates for inclusion as B-sides, When We Was Fab was subjected to a bizarre 'Reverse Ending' remix, with exactly as described, the last minute or so of the track reversed and tacked onto the end. This was included on the 12" vinyl and CD singles
14. That's The Way In Goes (Remix) - Again showing a lack of suitable tracks, That's The Way It Goes was subjected to a subtle remix for the CD single of When We Was Fab
Disc 2.
1. Got My Mind Set On You (Extended) - Released on the 12" single of the track and later as an Itunes bonus track
2. That's The Way It Goes (Early Mix) - This and the following track were included in a WB in-house promo cassette for the upcoming album. This early mix is largely the same as the released version but in particular has a different beginning and a few other minor mixing differences
3. When We Was Fab (Early Mix) - Again largely as released but this version has an extra chorus at the end removed from the eventually released version
4. Shanghai Surprise (Edit) - Directly from the movie soundtrack, this edit opened the movie
5. Zig Zag - Originally included on the When We Was Fab single
6. Breath Away From Heaven - One of the earliest bootlegs I ever bought was a vinyl copy of OHNOTIMAGEN. This contained a version of this track assembled from the various parts played in the movie. I always liked this and have recreated the version from the movie soundtrack. Some of the edits in the bootleg version were a bit severe so I have attempted to make them a little smoother in this version
7. Hottest Gong In Town - As released on the bonus CD with Songs2 book and just about every George bootleg since
8. Someplace Else - This one is a bit of a puzzle as I'm not sure what the original source was. It cannot be extracted from the movie soundtrack and it is not from the 'Handmade in Hong Kong' documentary about the movie. It sounds like it was originally from a cassette, along with the version of Shanghai Surprise that was included on bootlegs before the official release and so I assume it was something the movie production crew were working with. Strange that Breath Away From Heaven appears not to have a cassette source though
9. Shanghai Surprise - The full unedited version from the CD re-release
10. Ride Rajbun - Recorded in March 1988, before the formation of the Traveling Wilburys, this song is from the rare soundtrack CD to the Bunbury Tales.
11-13. As released on Best Of Dark Horse years (1976-1989), these tracks fit nicely here and would be the last new songs we would here from George until 2001's Horse To The Water
